 WIRELESS  TELECOMMUNICATIONS  BUREAU  GRANTS  MULTICHANNEL  VIDEO  DISTRIBTUION  AND  DATA  SERVICE  LICENSES 


 AUCTION  EVENT  NO.  53 
 Report  No.  AUC-  53  (Auction  No.  53) 
 On  January  27,  2004,  the  Federal  Communications  Commission  completed  the  auction  of  214  Multichannel  Video  Distribution  and  Data  Service  (“  MVDDS”)  service  licenses  (“  Auction  No.  53”).  1  On 
 June  15,  2004,  the  Wireless  Telecommunications  Bureau  announced  that,  based  upon  a  preliminary  review  of  the  long-  form  applications,  it  was  accepting  for  filing  the  applications  for  winning  bidders  in 
 Auction  No.  53.  2  Upon  further  review  and  examination,  the  applications  listed  in  Attachment  A  have  been  found  to  be  complete  and  in  conformance  with  the  Commission’s  rules.  Furthermore,  the 
 Commission  has  received  full  and  timely  payment,  as  required  by  section  1.2109(  a)  of  the  Commission’s  rules,  for  the  licenses  listed  in  Attachment  A.  3 


 Accordingly,  by  this  Public  Notice,  we  announce  the  grant  of  the  one  hundred  fifty  four  (154)  MVDDS  licenses  listed  in  Attachment  A.  We  grant  these  licenses  pursuant  to  Section  309(  a)  of  the 
 Communications  Act,  47  U.  S.  C.  §  309(  a),  and  Section  0.331  of  the  Commission’s  rules,  47  C.  F.  R.  §  0.331,  because  it  will  service  the  public  interest,  convenience  and  necessity. 


 This  Public  Notice  contains  the  following  Attachments:

 Attachment  B:  Instructions  for  Searching  for  the  Application  Listed  in  Attachment  A  Using  ULS.
