 Effective  Date  of 
 Schedule  of  Charges  for  Application  Fees 


 This  Public  Notice  is  to  remind  the  public  that  beginning  August  10,  2004,  the  Commission  will  begin  collecting  the  increased  application  fees  adopted  in  the  June  23,  2004  Application  Fee 
 Order.  All  applications  submitted  on  or  after  August  10,  2004,  will  be  required  to  tender  the  new  application  fees. 


 The  increase  in  application  fees  reflects  changes  in  the  Consumer  Price  Index  as  mandated  by  section  8(  b)  of  the  Communications  Act  of  1934,  as  amended,  47  U.  S.  C.  §  158(  b). 
 The  FY  2004  Fee  Filing  Guides,  including  the  new  application  fees,  may  be  reviewed  on  the  Commission’s  website  at  www.  fcc.  gov/  fees/  appfees.
