DOCKET NO. 91- 228) AND REGION 54 700 MHz REGIONAL PUBLIC SAFETY PLANNING MEETING The Region 54 (Southern Lake Michigan) 800 MHz NPSPAC Planning Committee and the Region 54 (Southern Lake Michigan) 700 MHz Planning Committee announce that consecutive meetings will be held on Wednesday, October 13, 2004 at the Chicago Office of Emergency Communications located at 1411 W. Madison Street, Chicago, Illinois. The meeting of the Region 54 800 MHz NPSPAC Planning Committee meeting will convene at 1: 00 p. m. The purpose of the meeting is to review 800 MHz applications. The Region 54 700 MHz Planning Committee will convene at 2: 00 p. m. The purpose of the meeting is to review the current draft of the 700 MHz Plan. Both of the Region 54 Public Safety Planning Committee meetings are open to the public. All eligible public safety providers in Region 54 whose sole or principal purpose is to protect the safety of life, health, or property may utilize these frequencies. It is essential that not only public safety, but all government, Native American Tribal, and non- governmental organizations eligible under Section 90.523 of the Commission’s Rules be represented in order to ensure that each agency’s future spectrum needs are considered in the allocation process. Administrators who are not oriented in the communications field should delegate someone with this knowledge to attend, participate and represent your agency’s needs.
