C. 20554 News Media Information 202 / 418- 0500 Internet: http:// www. fcc. gov TTY: 1- 888- 835- 5322 DA 04- 2901 September 8, 2004 Media Bureau Announces Temporary Freeze on the Filing of Forms 301, 314, and 315 For Commercial Radio Broadcast Stations On September 3, 2004, the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit issued an Order 1 granting in part the Petition of the Commission and United States for Panel Rehearing. In light of the Court’s decision, the Media Bureau has established a freeze, effective immediately and until further notice, on the filing of all applications using FCC Form 301, 314 or 315 that involve commercial radio broadcast stations. The freeze also applies to amendments that require the use of these forms. The Media Bureau will issue a Public Notice in the near future providing further information regarding the filing of new applications as well as guidance on the processing of Form 301, 314, and 315 applications that are currently pending. Applications proposing pro forma assignments and transfers of control (FCC Form 316) of commercial radio stations will continue to be processed in the normal course.
