 CRITERIA  ON  THE  TRANSITION  ADMINISTRATOR  SEARCH  COMMITTEE’S  WEB  SITE

 The  Transition  Administrator  Search  Committee  1  has  advised  the  Commission  that  it  has  developed  selection  criteria  for  the  position  of  800  MHz  Band  Reconfiguration  Transition  Administrator. 
 The  criteria,  the  submission  requirements,  and  the  closing  dates  may  be  obtained  from  the  Search  Committee’s  web  site:  http://  www.  tasc.  utc.  org.

 1  In  July,  2004,  the  Commission  adopted  a  Report  and  Order  in  this  docket  which  reconfigured  the  800 
 MHz  band  to  eliminate  interference  to  public  safety  communication  systems  operating  in  the  band.  See  Improving  Public  Safety  Communications  in  the  800  MHz  Band,  Report  and  Order,  FCC  04-  168  (rel. 


 August  6,  2004).  As  part  of  the  Report  and  Order,  the  Commission  mandated  that  the  logistics  of  the  reconfiguration  process  be  overseen  by  an  independent  third  party,  the  Transition  Administrator,  who 
 would  be  selected  by  a  committee  made  up  of  representatives  of  five  major  stakeholders  in  the  800  MHz  band.  See  id.  at  ¶¶  190-  200.
