Coarsegold Union School District (Coarsegold), Coarsegold, California, seeks review of a June 8, 2000 decision by the Schools and Libraries Division (SLD) of the Universal Service Administrative Company (Administrator). 1 On June 5, 2000, Coarsegold filed an appeal with SLD of an April 14, 2000 decision by SLD. 2 On June 8, 2000, SLD denied the appeal because Coarsegold filed the appeal more than 30 days after SLD’s decision was rendered. 3 Appeals seeking review of decisions by SLD issued before August 13, 2001 must be filed with SLD within 30 days of the issuance of the decision. 4 Coarsegold’s appeal was filed June 5, 2000, in contravention of this rule. This deadline was modified in 2001 by an interim order, extending the deadline to 60 days.
