The County of Miami- Dade, Florida (the “County”) filed a Motion for Extension of Time (“ Motion”) to file its opposition to the Petition for Special Relief (“ Petition”) in the above- captioned matter filed by Comcast Cable Communications, LLC, on behalf of its subsidiaries and affiliates. The County states that granting their request would allow the County a more adequate opportunity to review, analyze and refute the assumptions and methods employed by Comcast to establish its effective competition claims in the County. Comcast filed an opposition arguing that the County’s request for an extension of time is excessive. We agree with Comcast that the County’s requested extension seems somewhat excessive and will not grant the full extension. Based on the foregoing, the County’s opposition to Comcast’s petition will be due on or before December 3, 2004. Comcast’s reply will be due 10 days thereafter. 2. Accordingly, IT IS ORDERED that the Motion for Extension of Time filed by the County of Miami- Dade, Florida in the above- captioned proceeding IS GRANTED to the extent indicated herein. 3. This action is taken under delegated authority pursuant to Section 0.283 of the Commission’s rules. 1 FEDERAL COMMUNICATIONS COMMISSION Steven A.
