The City of Opa- Locka, Florida (the “City”) filed a Motion for Extension of Time (“ Motion”) to file its opposition to the Petition for Special Relief (“ Petition”) in the above- captioned matter filed by Comcast Cable Communications, LLC, on behalf of its subsidiaries and affiliates. The City states that the City Commission meets only two times per month, therefore, not allowing the City sufficient time to reply to Comcast’s Petition by the due date. Comcast filed an opposition arguing that the City’s request for an extension of time is excessive and that the City has failed to show any extraordinary circumstances or issues to justify an extension of time. We agree that the City’s requested extension seems somewhat excessive and will not grant the full extension. Based on the foregoing the City’s opposition to Comcast’s Petition will be due on or before December 3, 2004. Comcast’s reply will be due 10 days thereafter. 2. Accordingly, IT IS ORDERED that the Motion for Extension of Time filed by the City of, Opa- Locka, Florida in the above- captioned proceeding IS GRANTED to the extent indicated herein. 3. This action is taken under delegated authority pursuant to Section 0.283 of the Commission’s rules. 1 FEDERAL COMMUNICATIONS COMMISSION Mary Beth Murphy Deputy Chief, Policy Division Media Bureau 1 47 C.
