Adelphia Cable Communications, on behalf of its affiliates and subsidiaries, (“ Adelphia”) filed a Motion for Extension of Time (“ Motion”) to file its Reply to the City of Boca- Raton’s (the City”) opposition to the Petition for Special Relief (“ Petition”) in the above- captioned matter. Adelphia states the requested extension will facilitate Adelphia’a efforts to submit a full and accurate reply. The City contends that Adelphia should not be afforded additional time to research months after filing its Petition. We disagree, based upon the volume and content of the City’s opposition, Adelphia should be afforded additional time to review and respond to the issues raised by the City. Based on the foregoing the City’s opposition to Adelphia’s Petition will be due on or before December 13, 2004. 2. Accordingly, IT IS ORDERED that the Motion for Extension of Time filed Adelphia Communications on behalf of its affiliates and subsidiaries in the above- captioned proceeding IS GRANTED to the extent indicated herein. 3.
