C. 20554 DA 04- 789 March 26, 2004 WIRELESS TELECOMUNICATIONS BUREAU ACTION REGION 45 (WISCONSIN) 700 MHz PUBLIC SAFETY PLANNING COMMITTEE ANNOUNCES PLANNING MEETING The Region 45 (Wisconsin) Regional Planning Committees announces that the next planning meeting will be held on Thursday, June 17, 2004, at 10: 00 a. m. at the City of Wausau Park Department Office, 212 River Drive, Wausau, Wisconsin. Region 45 encompasses the State of Wisconsin, except for Dane, Dodge, Jefferson, Kenosha, Milwaukee, Ozaukee, Racine, Rock, Walworth, Washington, and Waukesha Counties. This meeting will include sub- committee planning time for the Implementation, Technical and Interoperability subcommittees. The Region 45 (Wisconsin) 700 MHz Public Safety Planning Committee meeting is open to the public. All eligible public safety providers whose sole purpose or principal purpose is to protect the safety of life, health, or property in Region 45, as defined above, would utilize these frequencies. It is essential that not only public safety, but all government, Native American Tribal, and non- governmental organizations eligible under Section 90.523 of the Commission’s Rules be represented in order to ensure that each agency’s future spectrum needs are considered in the allocation process. Administrators who are not oriented in the communications field should delegate someone with this knowledge to attend, participate and represent your agency’s needs. All interested parties wishing to participate in the planning for the use of the Public Safety spectrum in the 700 MHz and/ or the newly allocated 4.9 GHz band within Region 45 are encouraged to attend.
