 WIRELESS  TELECOMMUNICATIONS  BUREAU  GRANTS  LOWER  700  MHz  BAND  LICENSES 


 AUCTION  EVENT  NO.  49 
 Report  No.  AUC-  49  (Auction  No.  49) 
 On  February  26,  2004,  the  Wireless  Telecommunications  Bureau  announced  that  it  was  prepared  to  grant  the  application  for  a  winning  bidder  in  the  Lower  700  MHz  Band  Auction  (Auction  No.  49), 
 provided  that  the  applicant  made  full  and  timely  payment  of  the  remaining  balance  of  its  winning  bids  before  the  deadlines  established  by  the  Commission.  1 


 The  Commission  received  full  and  timely  payment,  as  required  by  section  1.2109(  a)  of  the  Commission’s  rules,  for  the  application  listed  in  Attachment  A.  Accordingly,  by  this  Public  Notice  we 
 announce  the  grant  of  the  Lower  700  MHz  Band  application  listed  in  Attachment  A.  We  grant  these  licenses  pursuant  to  Section  309(  a)  of  the  Communications  Act,  47  U.  S.  C.  §309(  a),  and  Section  0.331  of 
 the  Commission’s  rules,  47  C.  F.  R.  §0.331,  because  it  will  service  the  public  interest,  convenience  and  necessity. 


 This  Public  Notice  contains  the  following  Attachments: 
 Attachment  A:  Application  the  Wireless  Telecommunications  Bureau  is  Granting 
 Attachment  B:  Instructions  for  Searching  for  the  Application  Listed  in  Attachment  A  Using  ULS.
