On April 19, 2005, Ameritech filed Transmittal No. 1460 to revise Tariff F. C. C. No. 2, Access Services, to become effective May 4, 2005. Also on April 19, 2005, Southwestern Bell Telephone Company (SWBT) filed Transmittal No. 3057, to revise Tariff F. C. C. No. 73, Access Services, to become effective May 4, 2005. Ameritech and SWBT are proposing, among other things, to add OPT- E- MAN 1 Gigabit Ethernet Cross Connect to their Interconnection Services. 2. Transmittal Nos. 1460 and 3057 affect the issues regarding rate levels, rate structures, and terms and conditions of collocation services that are subject to the investigation of Ameritech’s Tariff F. C. C. No. 2 and SWBT’s Tariff F. C. C. No. 73, revisions to Expanded Interconnection provisions. Therefore, with respect to the rates, terms and conditions affecting Expanded Interconnection Services, Transmittal Nos. 1460 and 3057 are suspended for one day and will be subject to the investigation initiated in the Virtual Collocation Tariff Suspension Order, 1 the Expanded Interconnection Tariff Order 2 1 Ameritech Operating Companies, et al., CC Docket No. 94- 97, Order, 10 FCC Rcd 1960 (1994) (Virtual Collocation Tariff Suspension Order). The Virtual Collocation Tariff Suspension Order suspended for one day and initiated an investigation of the virtual collocation tariffs filed on September 1, 1994, by the TIER 1 local exchange carriers subject to expanded interconnection requirements. In the Phase II Designation Order, the Wireline Competition Bureau (formerly the Common Carrier Bureau) (Bureau) designated issues for investigation regarding the rate levels, rate structures, and terms and conditions of service for the second phase of the investigation of the LECs’ virtual collocation tariffs. Accordingly, IT IS ORDERED that, pursuant to section 204( a) of the Communications Act of 1934, as amended, 47 U. S. C. § 204( a), and the authority delegated pursuant to sections 0.91 and 0.291 of the Commission’s Rules, 47 C. F. R. §§ 0.91, 0.291, the revisions to Ameritech’s Tariff F. C. C. No. 2 and Southwestern Bell Telephone Company’s Tariff F. C. C. No. 73 Expanded Interconnection Service offerings filed under Transmittal Nos. 1460 and 3057, respectively, ARE SUSPENDED for one day from the May 4, 2005 effective date, and investigations of the referenced transmittals ARE INSTITUTED and incorporated within CC Docket Nos. 93- 162, 94- 97, and 96- 185. 4. IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that, pursuant to sections 4( i) and 204( a) of the Communications Act of 1934, as amended, 47 U. S. C. §§ 154( i) and 204( a), Ameritech and Southwestern Bell Telephone Company SHALL KEEP accurate account of all amounts received by the reason of the rates that are subject of this investigation. 5. IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that Ameritech and Southwestern Bell Telephone Company SHALL FILE tariff revisions within five business days of the release date of this Order to reflect this suspension. The New Expanded Interconnection Service Suspension Order suspended for one day and initiated an investigation into Ameritech’s new physical collocation expanded interconnection offering, filed on July 2, 1996. In the New Expanded Interconnection Tariff Designation Order, the Bureau designated issues for investigation regarding rate levels, rate structures and terms and conditions of service.
