C. 20554 DA 05- 1273 May 2, 2005 WIRELESS TELECOMMUNICATIONS BUREAU ACTION REGION 39 (TENNESSEE) 700 MHz REGIONAL PLANNING COMMITTEE ANNOUNCES NEXT MEETING The Region 39 (Tennessee) 700 MHz Public Safety Regional Planning Committee announces that its next meeting will be held on Thursday, June 2, 2005 at 10: 00 a. m., at the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation Headquarters, Hart Lane, Nashville, Tennessee. The agenda for this meeting includes: 1. Review of spectrum milestones since the last meeting 2. Presentation, discussion and vote on approval of the 700 MHz plan 3. Other business to be brought before the Committee The meeting of the Region 39 700 MHz Public Safety Regional Planning Committee meeting is open to the public. All eligible public safety providers whose sole purpose is to protect the safety of life, health, or property in Region 39 would utilize these frequencies. It is essential that not only public safety, but all government, Native American Tribal, and non-governments organizations eligible under Section 90.523 of the Commission’s Rules be represented in order to ensure that each agency’s future spectrum needs are considered in the allocation process.. Interested parties wishing to participate in the planning for the use of new public safety spectrum in the 700 MHz band, or the newly allocated 4.9 GHz band within Region 39 are encouraged to attend.
