C. 20554 News Media Information 202 / 418- 0500 Internet: http:// www. fcc. gov TTY: 1- 888- 835- 5322 DA 05- 1274 Released: May 2, 2005 COMMENTS SOUGHT ON SBC PETITION FOR A WAIVER OF SECTION 61.42( G) OF THE COMMISSIONS RULES WCB/ Pricing File No. 05- 24 COMMENTS: May 9, 2005 REPLY COMMENTS: May 16, 2005 By this Public Notice, we seek comment on a petition filed on April 22, 2005 by SBC Services, Inc., on behalf of the Pacific Bell Telephone Company, Southwestern Bell Telephone Company, The Ameritech Operating Companies, The Southern New England Telephone Company, and Nevada Bell Telephone Company (collectively “SBC”), requesting a waiver of section 61.42( g) of the Commission’s rules so that it may its exclude True IP to PSTN (TIPToP) service from any price cap basket in the upcoming 2005 annual access tariff filing. TIPToP is a new service that provides VoIP providers with connectivity to the SBC network. TIPToP was introduced in 2004, but there was no demand for the service in 2004. Interested parties may file comments on or before May 9, 2005 and reply comments on or before May 16, 2005. When filing comments, please reference WCB/ Pricing File No. 05- 24. An original and four copies of all pleadings shall be filed with the Secretary of the Commission. Filings can be sent by hand or messenger delivery, by commercial overnight courier, or by first class or overnight U. S. Postal Service (although we continue to experience delays in receiving U. S.
