C. 20554 DA 05- 2355 August 26, 2005 WIRELESS TELECOMUNICATIONS BUREAU REGION 25 (MONTANA) 700 MHz REGIONAL PLANNING COMMITTEE ANNOUNCES NEXT MEETING The Region 25 (Montana) 700 MHz Public Safety Regional Planning Committee announces that its next meeting will be held on Tuesday, September 27, 2005 at 10: 00 a. m., at the Montana Department of Transportation Building, 2701 Prospect, Helena, Montana. The agenda for this meeting includes: 1. Call to Order and Introductions. 2. Old Business. Voting eligibility is limited to representatives of FCC licensed public safety agencies, but all interested parties are welcome. 3. Call for election of any new officers, if needed. 4. Establish Sub- committees: Technical, Interoperability and E911. Discuss Sub-committee work, which could include, but not limited to plan administration; applications for frequencies; channel assignments; frequency give- backs and frequency coordination. 5. Establish statewide outreach effort to all public safety agencies and Native American groups. 6. Review of the Region 12 – Idaho 700 MHz Plan. 7. Tyco presentation - Mr. Bob Speidel, Manager, Government Relations, Regulatory Policy 8. Work on 700 MHz plan structure. 9. Plan for future meetings. 10. Next meeting time and place. 11. Administrators who are not oriented in the communications field should delegate someone with this knowledge to attend, participate and represent your agency’s needs. All interested parties wishing to participate in the planning for the use of new public safety spectrum in the 700 MHz band are encouraged to attend.
