C. 20554 DA 05- 2545 September 29, 2005 WIRELESS TELECOMUNICATIONS BUREAU REGION 46 (WYOMING) PUBLIC SAFETY REGIONAL PLANNING COMMITTEES ANNOUNCE 700 MHz REGIONAL PUBLIC SAFETY PLANNING MEETING AND 800 MHz REGIONAL PUBLIC SAFETY PLANNING MEETING (Gen. Docket 91- 59) The Region 46 (Wyoming) Public Safety Regional Planning Committees will hold two consecutive planning meetings on Monday, November 14, 2005. The meetings are being held in conjunction with the Annual Wyoming APCO Meeting at 300 West F Street, Casper, Wyoming. The Region 46 700 MHz Regional Planning Committee meeting will be held from 2: 00 p. m. until 3: 00p. m. The purpose of this meeting is to continue developing a Regional plan to meet the needs of the 700 MHz spectrum users including public safety, public health, emergency management and utility services. The Region 46 800 MHz Regional Planning Committee meeting, which will begin immediately following the 700 MHz meeting, is scheduled to take place from 3: 00 p. m. until 4: 00 p. m. The purpose of the meeting is to review and amend the Regional plan to comply with the new frequency allocations. Both of the Region 46 Public Safety Planning Committee meetings are open to the public. All eligible public safety providers whose sole purpose or principal purpose is to protect the safety of life, health, or property in Region 46 would utilize these frequencies. It is essential that not only public safety, but all government, Native American Tribal, and non- governmental organizations eligible under Section 90.523 of the Commission’s Rules be represented in order to ensure that each agency’s future spectrum needs are considered in the allocation process. Administrators who are not oriented in the communications field should delegate someone with this knowledge to attend, participate and represent your agency’s needs.
