 700  MHz  REGIONAL  PUBLIC  SAFETY  PLANNING  MEETING  AND 
 NPSPAC  800  MHz  REGIONAL  PUBLIC  SAFETY  PLANNING  MEETING  (PR  Docket  No.  92-  287) 


 The  Region  55  (New  York  –  Buffalo  area)  1  Public  Safety  Regional  Planning  Committees  will  hold  two  planning  meetings  on  Wednesday,  January  11,  2006.  The  Region  55  700  MHz 
 Regional  Planning  Committee  meeting  will  convene  at  10:  00  a.  m.  at  the  Public  Safety  Training  Center  located  at  1190  Scottsville  Road,  Room  117  B,  Rochester,  New  York. 


 The  agenda  for  this  meeting  includes:

 Immediately  following  the  adjournment  of  the  700  MHz  Regional  Planning  Committee  meeting,  Region  55  will  convene  its  800  MHz  NPSPAC  Regional  Planning  Committee  meeting. 
 1  Region  55,  the  New  York  –  Buffalo  area  consists  of  Allegany,  Cattaraugus,  Chautauqua,  Chemung,  Erie,  Genesee, 
 Livingston,  Monroe,  Niagara,  Ontario  Orleans,  Schuyler,  Seneca,  Steuben,  Wayne,  Wyoming  and  Yates  Counties  in  the  State  of  New  York.

 Both  of  the  Region  55  Public  Safety  Regional  Planning  Committee  meetings  are  open  to  the  public.  All  eligible  public  safety  providers  whose  sole  or  principal  purpose  is  to  protect  the 
 safety  of  life,  health,  or  property  in  the  New  York  –  Buffalo  area  would  utilize  these  frequencies.  It  is  essential  that  not  only  public  safety,  but  all  government,  Native  American  Tribal,  and  non-governmental 
 organizations  eligible  under  Section  90.523  of  the  Commission’s  Rules  be  represented  in  order  to  ensure  that  each  agency’s  future  spectrum  needs  are  considered  in  the 
 allocation  process.  Administrators  who  are  not  conversant  with  telecommunications  technology  should  ensure  that  their  respective  agencies  are  represented  by  suitably  conversant  staff. 


 All  interested  parties  wishing  to  participate  in  the  planning  for  the  use  of  public  safety  spectrum  in  the  700  MHz,  800  MHz  bands,  and/  or  the  newly  allocated  4.9  GHz  band  within
