C. 20554 News Media Information 202 / 418- 0500 Internet: http:// www. fcc. gov TTY: 1- 888- 835- 5322 DA 05- 388 February 11, 2005 WIRELESS TELECOMMUNICATIONS BUREAU REMINDS CERTAIN LICENSEES THAT THE CURRENT LICENSE AUDIT WILL CLOSE NEXT WEEK The Wireless Telecommunications Bureau is auditing site- specific licenses authorized under Part 22 in the Paging and Radio Telephone Service with a “CD” radio service code and site- specific licenses authorized on private carrier paging exclusive channels under Part 90 with a “GS” radio service code. 1 The deadline for responding to the audit was extended from January 21, 2005 to February 21, 2005. 2 This Notice reminds licensees that they are required to respond to the license audit, electronically, by the deadline or their station( s) may be presumed to be non- operational as defined under Section 22.317 of the Commission’s rules, and presumed to have cancelled automatically. Licensees are also reminded of two reports that are posted to the license audit web page at http:// wireless. fcc. gov/ licensing/ audits/. 3 The first report lists licenses cancelled by licensees for discontinuance of service and the second report lists licenses that do not have an audit response. The links to these reports are under the section “Audit Progress and Results” for the paging audit.
