The Chief, Video Division, Media Bureau, acting pursuant to delegated authority, hereby considers the unopposed request of the NAACP and Free Press for an extension of time until March 22, 2005 to file a reply to the opposition of Media General Broadcasting of South Carolina Holdings, Inc., licensee of WMBB( TV), Panama City, Florida to their Petition To Dismiss or in the Alternative to Deny. 2. NAACP states that Media General’s opposition was originally scheduled to be filed on February 2, 2005, but Media General was granted a two- week extension of time. According to NAACP, it did not receive the document until February 22. It further states that the opposition contains a substantial number of new facts that must be reviewed. 3. We believe that a brief extension of time will not unduly delay the resolution of this proceeding and will allow for the submission of a more thorough response to the matters raised. In addition, we do not expect to receive any further requests for extension from the parties in this proceeding. 4. Accordingly, IT IS ORDERED, That NAACP’s request for an extension of time until March 22, 2005 to respond to the opposition to “Petition to Dismiss or in the Alternative to Deny” IS GRANTED.
