C. 20554 In the Matter of: Charter Communications, on behalf of its affiliates, Petition for Determination of Effective Competition in Long Beach, California, CA0161 ) ) ) ) ) ) ) ) ) CSR 6427- E ORDER Adopted: January 11, 2005 Released: January 13, 2005 By the Deputy Chief, Policy Division, Media Bureau: 1. The City of Long Beach, California (the “City”) by letter filed a Request for Extension of Time (“ Request”) to file a supplemental response to its conditional opposition to the Petition for Special Relief (“ Petition”) in the above- captioned matter filed by Charter Communications. The City requested additional time mainly to analyze additional information the City has requested from Charter. Charter states they have by letter informed the City that all relevant information is contained in its petition and that there is no additional information in Charter’s possession. Charter asserts that the City’s request for an extension until February 9, 2005 is unwarranted and prejudicial. In light of the fact that there is no need to review any additional information, we agree that the City’s requested extension seems somewhat excessive and will not grant the full extension. Based on the foregoing any response by the City to Charter’s Petition will be due on or before January 21, 2004. Charter’s reply will be due 10 days thereafter. 2. Accordingly, IT IS ORDERED that the Request for Extension of Time filed by the City of, Long Beach, California in the above- captioned proceeding IS GRANTED to the extent indicated herein. 3. This action is taken under delegated authority pursuant to Section 0.283 of the Commission’s rules. 1 FEDERAL COMMUNICATIONS COMMISSION Steven A.
