C. 20554 News Media Information 202 / 418- 0500 Internet: http:// www. fcc. gov TTY: 1- 888- 835- 5322 DA 05- 687 March 15, 2005 VERIZON CAM REVISIONS ACCEPTED PUBLIC NOTICE WCB/ Pricing No. 04- 22 Verizon filed revisions to its cost allocation manual (CAM) for the separation of regulated and nonregulated costs on May 6, 2004. 1 The revisions reflect service changes to Verizon’s affiliates, as well as changes made to the CAM to correct minor errors discovered since the previous filing. The Commission sought comment on Verizon’s CAM revisions in a Public Notice released on June 14, 2004. 2 AT& T filed comments on Verizon’s CAM changes on July 15, 2004, stating that the CAM revisions submitted by Verizon are inadequate if they were made to satisfy the Commission’s CAM filing requirements set forth in the Operate Independently Order. 3 AT& T does not oppose the revisions if they were submitted for purposes other than to comply with the requirements of the Operate Independently Order. 4 The CAM revisions filed by Verizon on May 6, 2004, were not meant to comply with the Commission’s Operate Independently Order.
