The agenda this meeting includes: 1. 700 MHz – Status and update 2. 700 MHz Region 20 Plan update, discussion and vote 3. Regional ID standardization plan for P25 systems – Tom Provenza 4. New Business 5. Adjourn The Region 20 700 MHz Public Safety Planning Committee meeting is open to the public. All eligible public safety providers in Region 20 whose sole purpose or principal purpose is to protect the safety of life, health, or property may utilize these frequencies. It is essential that not only public safety, but all government, Native American Tribal, and non-governmental organizations eligible under Section 90.523 of the Commission’s Rules be represented in order to ensure that each agency’s future spectrum needs are considered in the allocation process. 1 The Region 20 area includes the District of Columbia, Maryland and Northern Virginia (Arlington, Fairfax, Fauquier, Loudoun, Prince William and Stafford Counties, and the cities of Alexandria, Fairfax, Falls Church, Manassas and Manassas Park).
