 FCC  CONTINUES  EEO  AUDITS 
 On  October  10,  2006,  the  Federal  Communications  Commission  mailed  the  third  set  of  its  Equal  Employment  Opportunity  (EEO)  audit  letters  for  2006.  This  mailing  was  sent  to  randomly 


 selected  multi-  channel  video  programming  distributors  (MVPDs).  In  accordance  with  the  provisions  of  Sections  73.2080(  f)(  4)  and  76.77(  d)  of  the  Commission’s  Rules,  47  C.  F.  R.  §§ 
 73.2080(  f)(  4),  76.77(  d),  the  FCC  audits  the  EEO  programs  of  randomly  selected  broadcast  licensees  and  MVPDs.  Each  year,  approximately  five  percent  of  all  stations  and  MVPDs  are 
 selected  for  these  random  EEO  audits. 
 A  list  of  the  MVPD  units  to  which  these  October  10  audit  letters  were  sent  is  attached.
