C. 20554 DA 06- 2059 Released: October 25, 2006 FCC Announces Change of Venue for November 3 rd Consumer Advisory Committee Meeting By this Public Notice, the Federal Communications Commission (“ Commission”) announces a change in venue for the November 3, 2006 meeting of its Consumer Advisory Committee (“ Committee”). The original date, time and agenda of the Committee’s meeting was announced via Public Notice released on October 12, 2006 (DA 06- 1998), as published in the Federal Register 71 FR 61470 (October 18, 2006). This change of venue was necessary because of unforeseen circumstances which made adequate meeting facilities at the Commission's headquarters building unavailable. Meeting Location, Date and Time The November 3, 2006 meeting of the Committee will take place from 9: 00 A. M. to 4: 00 P. M., at Verizon Communications, Inc., 1320 North Courthouse Road, Arlington, VA in rooms Forum I and II. The Committee is organized under, and operates in accordance with, the provisions of the Federal Advisory Committee Act, 5 U. S. C., App. 2 (1988). A meeting transcript and minutes of the meeting are available for public inspection at the FCC. Members of the public may address the Committee or may send written comments to: Scott Marshall, Designated Federal Officer of the Committee. scott. marshall@ fcc. gov. The meeting site is fully accessible to people using wheelchairs or other mobility aids. Meeting agendas and handouts will be provided in accessible formats; sign language interpreters, open captioning, and assistive listening devices will be provided on site.
