 NATIONAL  EXCHANGE  CARRIER  ASSOCIATION’S  REQUEST  TO  WITHDRAW  ITS  PETITION  FOR  INTERIM  WAIVER  AND  RULEMAKING  CONCERNING  THE 
 COMPENSATION  OF  WIRELESS  TELECOMMUNICATIONS  RELAY  SERVICE  (TRS)  CALLS  IS  GRANTED

 On  December  15,  2005,  the  National  Exchange  Carrier  Association  (NECA)  filed  a  letter  with  the  Commission  asking  to  withdraw  its  Petition  for  Interim  Waiver  and  Rulemaking  (Petition)  concerning  the 
 compensation  of  wireless  TRS  calls.  1  We  grant  the  request,  without  prejudice  to  NECA  (or  any  other  interested  entity)  filing  a  future  petition  of  this  issue.

 Interstate  TRS  Fund  to  relay  service  providers  for  all  TRS  calls  placed  from  wireless  telecommunications  devices).  The  Petition  is  directed  at  wireless  calls  routed  through  the  Public  Switched  Telephone  Network  (PSTN),  e.  g.,
