C. 20554 DA 06- 2469 December 5, 2006 PUBLIC DEMONSTRATION OF REDESIGNED FCC APPLICATION FILING FOR REQUIRED NOTIFICATIONS (NT) AND REQUESTS FOR EXTENSION OF TIME (EX) IN THE UNIVERSAL LICENSING SYSTEM WILL TAKE PLACE ON DECEMBER 14, 2006 As part of a continuing effort to improve license application filing, the FCC Application Filings for Required Notifications (NT) and Requests for Extension of Time (EX) are being redesigned in the Universal Licensing System. A public forum will be held on Thursday, December 14, 2006, from 1– 3 p. m. for anyone interested in viewing the redesigned work in process and providing feedback. The demonstration will take place at the Washington, DC headquarters building, 445 Twelfth Street, S. W., in Room 8- B516 (South Conference Room). Interested parties should pre-register for the event by December 12, 2006. Redesigned FCC Application Filing for Required Notifications (NT) and Requests for Extension of Time (EX) The NT and EX applications are being redesigned to use current technologies and design concepts and to integrate these applications into the ULS License Manager. The NT and EX application filings are being integrated into the ULS License Manager for both the FCC Form 601 (Notification or Extension of Construction) and the FCC Form 603 (Notification or Extension of Consummation). The forum will include the following: • Demonstration of how to file Required Notifications and Requests for Extension of Time in ULS License Manager. • Overview of planned implementation of the redesigned NT and EX filings. Remote Attendance This demonstration will be available for remote attendance via live streaming video through your Web browser. It is highly recommended that you install the required software and test your connection a few days before the scheduled event.
