On October 31, 2006, the Commission issued a Public Notice establishing due dates for comments and reply comments in the above- captioned proceeding. 1 The Commission set a deadline of December 11, 2006 for Bend Cable Communications, LLC d/ b/ a BendBroadband’s (“ BendBroadband”) reply comments. 2. On November 16, 2006, BendBroadband filed a motion seeking a four- day extension of time to file reply comments, making the deadline for filing reply comments December 15, 2006. 2 BendBroadband states that it needs more time to respond because its primary counsel on this matter will be out of the country and will have unreliable Internet access for the week preceding the current deadline. 3 BendBroadband contends that it is a small company with limited resources and that imposition of the current deadline would be prejudicial. 4 1 Request for Waiver of 47 C. F. R. § 76.1204( A)( 1) Filed with the Commission (rel. Oct. 31, 2006) (Public Notice). 2 Bend Cable Communications, LLC Motion for Extension of Time (filed Nov. 16, 2006). 3 Id. at 1. 4 Id. 1 Federal Communications Commission DA 06- 2482 2 3. We find that there is good cause to afford BendBroadband a limited extension of time to file reply comments. Given BendBroadband’s status as a small cable operator and the absence of its primary counsel, good cause exists to grant a very limited extension of time. Therefore, we extend the reply comment deadline in this proceeding by four days to December 15, 2006. 4. Accordingly, IT IS ORDERED that, pursuant to Sections 4( i), 4( j) and 5( c) of the Communications Act of 1934, as amended, 47 U. S. C. §§ 154( i), 154( j) and 155( c), and Sections 0.61, 0.283, and 1.46 of the Commission’s rules, 47 C. F. R. §§ 0.61, 0.283, and 1.46, the date for filing reply comments in CSR- 7057- Z is extended to December 15, 2006. FEDERAL COMMUNICATIONS COMMISSION Steven A.
