 FCC  CONTINUES  EEO  AUDITS 
 On  January  30,  2006,  the  Federal  Communications  Commission  (FCC)  began  mailing  the  first  of  its  Equal  Employment  Opportunity  (EEO)  audit  letters  for  2006  to  randomly  selected  radio  and 
 television  stations.  In  accordance  with  the  provisions  of  47  C.  F.  R.  §§  73.2080(  f)(  4)  and  76.77(  d)  of  the  Commission’s  EEO  rules,  the  FCC  is  auditing  the  EEO  programs  of  randomly  selected 
 broadcast  licensees  and  multi-  channel  video  programming  distributors  (MVPDs).  Each  year,  approximately  five  percent  of  all  licensees  and  MVPDs  are  selected  for  random  EEO  audits. 


 A  list  of  the  radio  and  television  stations  to  which  audit  letters  were  sent  is  attached.
