The Audio Division has before it the Report and Order1 issued in response to a Petition for Rule Making filed by Clear Channel Broadcasting Licenses, Inc., licensee of Station WDDD-FM, Channel 297B, Johnston City. The Report and Order reallotted Channel 297B from Marion to Johnston City, Illinois, as that community’s first local FM transmission service, and modified Station WDDD-FM’s license to specify Johnston City as its community of license. Infinity Broadcasting Operations, Inc., licensee of Stations WBBM(AM), WBBM-FM, WSCR(AM), and WXRT-FM, Chicago, Illinois; WGN Continental Broadcasting Company, licensee of WGN(AM), Chicago, Illinois; and Bonneville International Corporation (“BIC”), operator of Stations WNND(FM), WLUP-FM, and WDRV(FM), Chicago, Illinois; WTMX(FM), Skokie, Illinois, and WWDV(FM), Zion, Illinois2 (collectively referred to as “Joint Parties”) filed an Application for Review of the Report and Order. Subsequently, the Joint Parties requested that their Application for Review in this docket be dismissed. 3 After having reviewed the Joint Parties’ request, we find that it complies with Section 1.420(j) of our Rules and that there are no impediments to granting that request. Therefore, we dismiss the Joint Parties’ Application for Review in this docket and terminate the proceeding. 2. Accordingly, IT IS ORDERED That the above-referenced Application for Review filed by the Joint Parties IS DISMISSED as requested and that this proceeding IS TERMINATED. 1 Marion and Johnston City, Illinois, Report and Order, 18 FCC Rcd 15346 (MB 2003). 2 These five stations are licensed to Bonneville Holding Company, a BIC-affiliated company. 3 On November 21, 2005, the Joint Parties filed a “Joint Request for Approval of Settlement Agreement,” in which the Joint Parties sought to dismiss this Application for Review and certain other “Adverse Pleadings” directed against applications filed by Intermart Broadcasting of Georgia, Inc. for Station WMLB(AM), Avondale Estates, Georgia, and Clear Channel Broadcasting Licenses, Inc. for Station WVON(AM), Berwyn, Illinois and Station WDDD-FM Johnston, Illinois. With the exception of the Application for Review in this docket, the “Adverse Pleadings” were dismissed by Public Notice, Report No. 26162 at pp. 21-22, released January 31, 2006.
