On June 3, 2002, Family Stations, Inc. (“ Family Stations”), licensee of commercial station KFTL( TV), Stockton, California, filed an Application for Review of the Media Bureau’s Memorandum Opinion and Order denying Family Stations’ Petition for Reconsideration and alternatively, petition for Waiver of the Commission’s rules. The Memorandum Opinion and Order denied Family Stations’ must carry complaint. 2. In January 2004, Telefutura Sacramento, LLC (“ Telefutura”) acquired KFTL( TV) from Family Stations and obtained a new call sign, KTFK- TV. On February 7, 2006, Telefutura, as successor licensee to Family Stations, filed a request to dismiss the Application for Review filed by Family Stations’ because the carriage complaint request has been rendered moot by the new must- carry election cycle that commenced on January 1, 2006. 3. Accordingly, IT IS ORDERED, that the Application for Review filed by Family Stations, Inc. IS DISMISSED. 4.
