SAT- STA- 20060125- 00009 E Effective Date: 02/ 17/ 2006 Grant of Authority Special Temporary Authority PanAmSat Licensee Corp. On Ferbruary 17, 2006, the Policy Branch granted with conditions PanAmSat Licensee Corp. 's (PanAmSat's) application for Special Temporary Authority, SAT- STA- 20060125- 00009 (Call Sign S2460). Accordingly, PanAmSat is authorized on a non interference basis for the period of 30 days commencing on February 17, 2006, to re- point the Southeast Asia downlink beam to New Zealand on its PAS- 5 satellite at the 166 E. L. orbit location in the 12.25- 12.75 GHz (space- to- Earth) frequency band. Other than re- pointing the Southeast Asia downlink beam, the conditions contained in the prior authorization remain in effect and the PAS- 5 satellite will operate in accordance with the terms, conditions, and technical specifications set forth in its application, the conditions of grant, and the Federal Communications Commission's Rules. SAT- STA- 20060202- 00013 E Effective Date: 02/ 17/ 2006 Grant of Authority Special Temporary Authority PanAmSat Licensee Corp. On February 17, 2006, the Policy Branch granted with conditions PanAmSat Licensee Corp. 's (PanAmSat's) request for special temporary authority, SAT- STA- 20060202- 00013. Accordingly, PanAmSat is authorized for 30 days to continue to operate the tracking, telemetry, and command (" TT& C") payload on Galaxy 3R (Call Sign: E GAL- 3R) for purposes of tracking and performing end of life maneuvers to boost the Galaxy 3R satellite to a disposal orbit above the geostationary arc, in accordance with the terms, conditions, and technical specifications set forth in its application and the conditions of grant. PanAmSat shall coordinate all orbit raising maneuver TT& C operations with existing geostationary satellites to ensure that no unacceptable interference results from its TT& C operations during its disposal operations. In particular, PanAmSat shall not conduct TT& C operations within two degrees of an existing geostationary satellite operating in the Ku- band, absent successful coordination of such operations with the affected satellite operator.
