 PanAmSat  Licensee  Corp. 


 Nature  of  Service:  Fixed  Satellite  Service 
 On  March  3,  2006,  the  Policy  Branch,  granted  with  conditions  PanAmSat  Licensee  Corp.  's  (PanAmSat)  application, 
 SAT-  RPL-  20051118-  00233,  to  construct,  launch,  and  operate  the  hybrid  C-  and  Ku-  band  Galaxy-  16  satellite  (Call  Sign:  S2687)  at  the 
 99°  W.  L.  orbital  location.  Accordingly,  PanAmSat  is  authorized  to  operate  the  Galaxy-  16  satellite  at  the  99°  W.  L.  orbital  location  in 
 order  to  provide  service  in  the  C-  band  frequencies  of  5925-  6425  MHz  (Earth-  to-  space),  3700-  4200  MHz  (Space-  to  earth)  and  the 
 Ku-  band  frequencies  of  14000-  14500  MHz  (Earth-  to-  space)  and  11700-  12200  MHz  (Space-  to  earth),  in  accordance  with  the  technical 
 specifications  set  forth  in  its  application,  Federal  Communication  Commission's  (Commission)  Rules,  and  the  conditions  of  grant. 


 This  file  was  previously  known  as  SAT-  LOA-  20051118-  00233  but  was  renumbered  because  Galaxy  16  is  a  replacement  satellite.

 and  Order  and  Further  Notice  of  Proposed  Rulemaking,  IB  Docket  No.  02-  34,  18  FCC  Rcd  10760  (2003);  Amendment  of  the 
 Commission's  Space  Station  Licensing  Rules  and  Policies,  First  Order  on  Reconsideration  and  Fifth  Report  and  Order,  IB  Docket 
 No.  02-  34,  19  FCC  Rcd  12637  (2004). 


 S2348  SAT-  MOD-  20050511-  00097  ORBIMAGE  License  Corp. 
 On  February  8,  2006,  Orbimage,  Inc.  filed  a  $5  million  performance  bond,  payable  to  the  U.  S.  Treasury,  as  required  by  its  space 
 station  authorization  to  launch  and  operate  its  NGSO  satellite.  (See  Grant  Stamp  (January  9,  2006)).
