The Audio Division has before it Notices of Proposed Rule Making, 1 specified below, setting forth two separate proposals to allot a FM channel to a specific community. Each petitioner filed comments in support of its proposal reaffirming its intention to apply for the specified channel, if allotted. Each proposal complies with all Commission technical requirements and we continue to believe that each proposal would serve the public interest. Accordingly, we adopt each proposal as originally proposed. A. MB Docket No. 05- 100; RM- 11181 Action: At the request of Linda Crawford, we are allotting Channel 250A at Encino, Texas, as that community’s second local aural transmission service. Coordinates: The reference coordinates for Channel 250A at Encino are 26- 56- 09 North Latitude and 98- 08- 06 West Longitude. Additional Information: This allotment requires no site restriction because the location is at city reference coordinates. FCC Contact: Rolanda F. Puopolo, we are allotting Channel 289A at Steamboat Springs, Colorado, as that community’s third FM commercial broadcast service. 2 Coordinates: The reference coordinates for Channel 289A at Steamboat Springs are 40- 30- 00 North Latitude and 106- 54- 00 West Longitude. Additional Information: The allotment requires a site restriction of 6.1 kilometers (3.8 miles) west of the community to avoid a short- spacing to the licensed site of FM Station KJAC, Channel 288C1, Timnath, Colorado. Sections 0.61, 0.204( b) and 0.283, IT IS ORDERED, That effective May 22, 2006, the FM Table of Allotments, 47 C. F. R. Section 73. 202( b), IS AMENDED, with respect to the communities listed below, to read as follows: Community Channel No. Encino, Texas 250A, 283A Steamboat Springs, Colorado 245C2, 255A, 289A 3. The Commission will send a copy of this Report and Order in a report to be sent to Congress and the Government Accountability Office pursuant to the Congressional Review Act, see 5 U. S. C. 801( a)( 1)( A). 4. The window period for filing applications for these allotments will not be opened at this time. Instead, the issue of opening these allotments for auction will be addressed by the Commission in a subsequent order. 5. IT IS FURTHER ORDERED, That the aforementioned proceedings ARE TERMINATED. 6.
