Petitions to Deny those applications were due on or before November 1, 2006. However, the KTLA-TV license renewal application was not filed until August 11, 2006, due to malfunctions in the Commission’s electronic filing system. See Public Notice, DA 06-1571, released August 1, 2006. In November, 2006, several Petitions to Deny and Informal Objections were received raising issues pertinent to renewal of the KTLA-TV license. The Commission believes that a full and complete record should be assembled with respect to the KTLA-TV license renewal application. The opportunity for additional public comment would facilitate this process. Accordingly, the window for filing formal Petitions to Deny or other comments with respect to the KTLA-TV license renewal application is reopened for a period of 30 days, commencing upon the release of this public notice.
