MEMORANDUM OPINION AND ORDER

By the Assistant Chief, Audio Division, Media Bureau:
1. The Audio Division has before it a Request for Withdrawal filed by Chisholm Trail 
Broadcasting Company (“Chisholm”).  Chisholm requests withdrawal of its counterproposal (RM-11335) 
and its Petition for Reconsideration of a Report and Order1 in the above captioned proceeding.
2. Chisholm provides a sworn declaration pursuant to Section 1.420(j) of the Commission’s 
rules,2 stating that it has not received nor will it receive any money or other consideration in exchange for 
its withdrawal request.  After reviewing the withdrawal request, we find that it complies with Section 
1.420(j) of the Commission’s rules and that there are no impediments to granting the request.  Therefore, 
we dismiss Chisholm’s counterproposal, including the allotment for Channel 288C3 at Kinsley, Kansas 
which was granted in the Report and Order, and for which there is no longer any expression of interest.3  
We also dismiss Chisholm’s Petition for Reconsideration in this docket and terminate the proceeding.
3. ACCORDINGLY, IT IS ORDERED, That the Counterproposal (RM-11335) filed by 
Chisholm Trail Broadcasting Company IS DISMISSED as requested, and that the allotment of Channel 
288C3 at Kinsley, Kansas is removed from the FM Table of Allotments.
4. IT IS FURTHER ORDERED, That the Petition for Reconsideration filed by Chisholm 
Trail Broadcasting Company IS DISMISSED as requested and that this proceeding IS TERMINATED.

71 FR 61425 (Oct. 18, 2006); 47 C.F.R. § 73.202.  We are nevertheless formally removing the allotment of Channel 
288C3 at Kinsley, Kansas from the FM Table to avoid needlessly protecting the coordinates of a channel for which 
there is no longer any expression of interest.

5. The Commission will send a copy of this Report and Order in a report to be sent to Congress 
and the Government Accountability Office pursuant to the Congressional Review Act, see 5 U.S.C. Section 
801(a)(1)(A).
