S2232SAT-STA-20061020-00124 E Effective Date: 04/10/2007Grant of Authority Special Temporary Authority EchoStar Satellite Operating Corporation Nature of Service: Direct Broadcast Satellite Service On April 10, 2007, the Policy Branch Chief granted with conditions EchoStar Satellite Operating Corporation (EchoStar's) request for special temporary authority. Accordingly, EchoStar is authorized for 180 days to conduct Telemetry, Tracking, and Control operations on a non-harmful interference basis, at the 110.4° W.L. orbital location, sufficient to maintain the EchoStar 6 satellite as an in-orbit spare with +/- 0.05 longitudinal station keeping in accordance with the terms, conditions, and technical specifications set forth in its application, Federal Communication Commission rules, and the attachment to grant. On April 12, 2007, the Satellite Division granted special temporary authority to XM Radio Inc. to operate indoor terrestrial repeaters with an Effective Isotropically Radiated Power (EIRP) of up to 0.5 watts and 0.0001 watts at events such as promotional events, press events, and trade shows at locations and dates yet to be identified for a period of 30 days, commencing on April 13, 2007, subject to conditions.
