Washington, D.C. 20554 News Media Information 202 / 418-0500 Internet: http://www.fcc.gov TTY: 1-888-835-5322 DA 07-1762 April 17, 2007 INTERNATIONAL BUREAU ANNOUNCES REVISION TO FCC FORM 312, MAIN FORM The International Bureau (Bureau) has added a question to FCC Form 312, the satellite and earth station license application form, that requires satellite applicants to certify that either they are not subject to geographic service rules, or that they will comply with any geographic service rules that apply to them. The Bureau invited comment on this form change in a public notice published in the Federal Register, 71 FR 62463 (Oct. 25, 2006). No comments were received and the Commission received approval from the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) on March 16, 2007. Adding this question to Form 312 should facilitate satellite licensee's compliance with the Commission's geographic services rules.
