Nature of Service: Satellite Digital Audio Radio Service On April 16, 2007, the Satellite Division granted authority to Sirius Satellite Radio Inc. (Sirius) to construct, launch, and operate a geostationary satellite, SIRIUS FM-5, at the 96 degrees W.L. orbital location, in accordance with the terms, conditions, and technical specifications set forth in its application and consistent with the Commission's rules. The SIRIUS FM-5 satellite will use the frequency bands 2320.0-2332.5 MHz (space-to-Earth) and 7050-7072.5 MHz (Earth-to-space).
