In this Order, we grant separate requests to withdraw two petitions for rulemaking. On June 20, 2005, the Communications Think Tank (CTT) requested that the Commission "discontinue mandatory segmentation of emission modes and the activities using these modes in the Amateur Service, and substitute a voluntary system of coordination to achieve greater, and more efficient, utilization offrequency allocations within the amateur radio bands." 1 On November 14,2005, the American Radio Relay League, Inc. (ARRL) requested that the Commission "comprehensively modify the means by which the extremely varied emission modes in the Amateur Radio Service are developed, experimented with, implemented, and regularly utilized in the course of normal Amateur Radio communications.,,2 On November 6, 2006, CTT requested that its petition be withdrawn.3 On April 27, 2007, ARRL requested that its petition be withdrawn.4 We will grant the withdrawal requests, and no further action will be taken with respect to these petitions for rulemaking or the comments filed in response thereto. 2. Accordingly, pursuant to Section 0.331 of the Commission's Rules, 47 C.F.R. § 0.331, IT IS ORDERED that the request filed by CTf on November 6, 2006, to withdraw the Petition for Rulemaking filed June 20, 2005, RM-11305, and the request filed by ARRL on April 27, 2007, to withdraw the Petition for Rule Making filed November 14, 2005, RM-11306 ARE GRANTED, and both Petitions for Rulemaking ARE DISMISSED WITHOUT PREJUDICE.
