On August 6, 2004, Verizon Wireless filed a Petition for Reconsideration regarding the dismissal of an application that sought a nationwide authorization for the 1910-1915 MHz/1990-1995 MHz bands (“Reconsideration Petition”).1 On July 21, 2005, Verizon Wireless filed its Withdrawal Request seeking Commission consent to withdraw its Reconsideration Petition. The Mobility Division has reviewed the Verizon Wireless Withdrawal Request and finds that it raises no substantial or material questions of fact. Accordingly, pursuant to section 0.331 of the Commission's rules,2 the Mobility Division hereby approves the withdrawal of, and dismisses with prejudice, the Reconsideration Petition filed by Verizon Wireless on July 21, 2005.
