By the Deputy Chief, Public Safety and Homeland Security Bureau:
1. In this Order, we dismiss as moot nine petitions for waiver of Section 11.51 of the 
Commission’s rules, which requires that digital broadcast stations transmit Emergency Alert System 
messages.1  A list of the companies whose petitions we dismiss is provided in the Attachment.  The record 
in this proceeding indicates that these companies are now in compliance with Section 11.51.  Their 
petitions for waiver are therefore moot.
2. Accordingly, IT IS ORDERED that the pending requests for waiver of Section 11.51 of 
the Commission’s rules, 47 C.F.R. § 11.51, identified in this Order are DISMISSED AS MOOT to the 
extent indicated herein.
3. This action is taken under delegated authority pursuant to Sections 0.191 and 0.392 of the 
Commission’s rules, 47 C.F.R. §§ 0.191, 0.392.
