NOTICE OF PRESENTATIONS IN THE MATTER OF IMPLEMENTATION OF 
SECTION 621(A)(1) OF THE CABLE COMMUNICATIONS POLICY ACT OF 1984 AS 
AMENDED BY THE CABLE TELEVISION CONSUMER PROTECTION AND 
COMPETITION ACT OF 1992 (MB DOCKET NO. 05-311)
Notice is hereby given that numerous written presentations concerning the above-referenced 
proceeding (MB Docket No. 05-311) were received by the Commission between December 14, 
2006 and March 2, 2007. Generally, Section 1.1203 of the Commission's Rules, 47 C.F.R. § 
1.1203, prohibits the making of any presentation, with specified exceptions not applicable here, 
whether ex parte or not, to decision-making personnel concerning any matter listed on the 
Commission's Sunshine Agenda until the Commission releases the text of a decision or order 
relating to that matter or removes the item from the Sunshine Agenda. The instant presentations 
addressed the merits of MB Docket No. 05-311, which was included in the Commission's 
Sunshine Agenda by Public Notice released December 13, 2006.  A Report and Order and 
Further Notice of Proposed Rulemaking was released on March 5, 2007.  Accordingly, under 
Section 1.1212 of the Commission's Rules, 47 C.F.R § 1.1212, presentations received during the 
Sunshine period, shall be associated with, but not made a part of, the record in MB Docket No. 
05-192.1

1 Our decision here does not apply to a letter dated January 5, 2007 submitted by the City Attorney for the 
City of Tampa.  We have determined, in consultation with the Media Bureau, that it would serve the 
public interest to waive the sunshine period prohibition with respect to this presentation in the interest of 
fairness given that the letter responds to specific statements about the City that were made at the 
Commission meeting where the Report and Order and Further Notice of Proposed Rulemaking was 
adopted.  Accordingly, pursuant to 47 C.F.R. § 1.1200(a), which gives the Commission and its staff 
discretion to modify the ex parte rules in particular proceedings, the aforementioned presentation is made 
part of the record in MB Docket No. 05-311. We also note that the Chairman’s March 13, 2007 response 
to this letter has been added to the record for the sake of completeness.
