Washington, D.C. 20554 DA 07-3805 August 30, 2007 PUBLIC SAFETY AND HOMELAND SECURITY BUREAU ACTION REGION 7 (COLORADO) PUBLIC SAFETY REGIONAL PLANNING COMMITTEE TO HOLD 700 MHz REGIONAL PUBLIC SAFETY PLANNING AND 4.9 GHz PUBLIC SAFETY PLANNING MEETING The Region 7 (Colorado) Public Safety Regional Planning Committee will hold its next meeting on Wednesday, October 24, 2007 beginning at 10:00 a.m., in the State of Colorado Emergency Management Office, 9195 East Mineral Avenue, Suite 200, Centennial, Colorado. The purpose of this meeting is to revise and update the 700 MHz, and to discuss the 4.9 GHz plans for Region 7.1 There will be telephone conferencing during this meeting. The Region 7 700 MHz and 4.9 GHz Public Safety Regional Planning Committee meeting is open to the public. All eligible public safety providers whose sole or principal purpose is to protect the safety of life, health, or property in Region 7 may utilize these frequencies. It is essential that public safety agencies in all areas of government, including state, municipality, county, and Native American Tribal, and non-governmental organizations eligible under Section 90.523 of the Commission’s rules, be represented in order to ensure that each agency’s future spectrum needs are considered in the allocation process. Administrators who are not oriented in the communications field should delegate someone with this knowledge to attend, participate, and represent their agency’s needs. 1 700 MHz Regional Planning Committees (RPCs) with approved plans or plans on file with the Commission (see WT Docket 02-378), are required to submit amended plans consistent with the decisions outlined in the 700 MHz proceeding.
