Washington, D.C. 20554 News Media Information 202 / 418-0500 Internet: http://www.fcc.gov TTY: 1-888-835-5322 DA 07-411 January 31, 2007 WIRELESS TELECOMMUNICATIONS BUREAU GRANTS UPPER AND LOWER PAGING BAND LICENSES Auction Event No. 48 Report No. AUC-48 (Auction 48) On May 28, 2003, the Federal Communications Commission completed the auction of 10,202 licenses in the Lower and Upper Paging Bands.1 On September 30, 2003, the Bureau announced that, based on a preliminary review, it had accepted for filing the long-form application (FCC Form 601) for Colorado CallComm, Inc. (“Colorado CallComm”).2 On January 9, 2004, the Bureau announced that it was prepared to grant the Colorado CallComm application upon full and timely payment.3 Colorado CallComm defaulted on its final payment obligation for its winning bid for the FE-block license in BEA141, but it did meet its final payment obligation for the FM-block license in BEA141.4 Upon further review, we find that, in regard to the FM-block license, the application filed by Colorado CallComm, listed in Attachment A to this Public Notice, is complete and conforms to the Commission’s rules. Furthermore, the Commission has received full payment, as required by Section 1.2109(a) of its rules,5 for the FM-block license in BEA141 listed in Attachment A.6 Accordingly, by this Public Notice, we announce the grant of the FM-block license listed in Attachment A.
