MEMORANDUM OPINION AND ORDER

By the Assistant Chief, Audio Division, Media Bureau:
1. The Audio Division has before it a “Request to Withdraw Application for Review” filed 
by Clear Channel Broadcasting Licenses, Inc. (“Clear Channel”), licensee of Station KHKZ(FM), 
Mercedes, Texas and Capstar TX Limited Partnership (“Capstar”), licensee of Station KTEX(FM) 
Brownsville, Texas.  Clear Channel and Capstar seek dismissal of their Application for Review directed 
to a Memorandum Opinion and Order in DA 05-25061 which denied their petition for reconsideration and 
affirmed dismissal of their joint petition for rule making that proposed inter alia changes to the
communities of license for their respective stations.
2. Clear Channel and Capstar provide a sworn declaration pursuant to Section 1.420(j) of 
the Commission’s rules,2 stating that they have not received nor will they receive any money or other 
consideration in exchange for their withdrawal request.  We find that the withdrawal request complies 
with Section 1.420(j) of the Commission’s rules and that there are no impediments to granting the
request.  Therefore, we dismiss the Application for Review and terminate the proceeding.
3. ACCORDINGLY, IT IS ORDERED, That the Application for Review filed by Clear 
Channel Broadcasting Licenses, Inc. and Capstar TX Limited Partnership IS DISMISSED as requested 
and that this proceeding IS TERMINATED.
