Nature of Service: Fixed Satellite Service On October 18, 2007, the Policy Branch granted with condition's PanAmSat Licensee Corp.'s (PanAmSat) request to construct, launch, and operate a C and Ku-band satellite, Galaxy 18, (Call Sign S2733), to be located at the 123° W.L. orbital location. Accordingly, PanAmSat is authorized to provide Fixed Satellite Services (FSS) in the 3700-4200 MHz (space-to-Earth), 5925-6425 MHz (Earth-to-space), 11.7-12.2 GHz (space-to-Earth) and 14.0-14.5 GHz (Earth-to-space) frequency bands, using the Galaxy 18 satellite at the 123° W.L. orbital location, in accordance with the technical specifications and conditions set forth in the application, the attachment to grant, and the Commission's rules.
