On March 12, 2004, OnStar Corporation (OnStar) filed a petition seeking reconsideration and clarification of the Commission’s rules concerning the transmittal of 911 calls through the use of Text Telephone Devices.1 On October 26, 2006, OnStar filed a motion to withdraw its petition, stating that “important engineering uncertainties relevant to the petition have been resolved in a manner that allows withdrawal of the petition.”2 By this Order, we grant OnStar’s motion to withdraw. 2. ACCORDINGLY, IT IS ORDERED, pursuant to Section 4(i) of the Communications Act, as amended, 47 U.S.C. § 154(i), that the motion to withdraw filed by OnStar Corporation on October 26, 2006, IS GRANTED. 3.
