Washington, D.C. 20554 DA 07-4672 November 19, 2007 PUBLIC SAFETY AND HOMELAND SECURITY BUREAU ACTION REGION 45 (WISCONSIN) PUBLIC SAFETY REGIONAL PLANNING COMMITTEES TO HOLD 700 MHz REGIONAL PUBLIC SAFETY PLANNING AND 800 MHz NPSPAC REGIONAL PUBLIC SAFETY PLANNING MEETINGS PR Docket 92-273 The Region 45 (Wisconsin)1 Public Safety Regional Planning Committees will hold two consecutive planning meetings on Thursday, December 13, 2007, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Wood County Courthouse Auditorium, 400 Market Street2, Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin. The agenda for the 700 MHz meeting includes: § Discuss new 700 MHz band plan and channel centers § Discuss new Region 45 website (hosted by the Sheboygan Police Department) Immediately following the 700 MHz Public Safety Regional Planning Committee meeting, the 800 MHz Public Safety Regional Planning Committee will convene at the same location. The agenda for the 800 MHz meeting includes: § Discuss new 800 MHz statewide application available for all agencies § Update on 800 MHz rebanding Both of the Region 45 Public Safety Regional Planning Committee meetings are open to the public. All eligible public safety providers whose sole or principal purpose is to protect the safety of life, health, or property in Region 45 may utilize these frequencies. It is essential that public safety agencies in all areas of government, including state, municipality, county, and Native American Tribal, and non-governmental organizations eligible under Section 90.523 of the Commission’s rules, be represented in order to ensure that each agency’s future spectrum 1 Region 45 encompasses the State of Wisconsin, except for Dane, Dodge, Jefferson, Kenosha, Milwaukee, Ozaukee, Racine, Rock, Walworth, Washington, and Waukesha Counties. 2 West of Highway 54.
