Both 700 MHz Public Safety Regional Planning Committee meetings will begin at 9:30 a.m., and will be held at the Texas Department of Public Safety, 12230 West Road, Houston, Texas. The agendas for both meetings include: § Call to order (Chairman Douglas Frankhouser) § Introduction of attendees and completion/verification of attendee information sheet § Reminder of new website (http://www.region51.hctx.net/) § Discuss any issues discovered during review of draft § Adjourn § Next meeting reminder Both Region 51 Public Safety Regional Planning Committee meetings are open to the public. All eligible public safety providers whose sole or principal purpose is to protect the safety of life, health, or property in Region 51 may utilize these frequencies. It is essential that public safety agencies in all areas of government, including state, municipality, county, and Native American Tribal, and non-governmental organizations eligible under Section 90.523 of 1 Region 51, the East Texas area, includes Houston and the counties of Shelby, Nacogdoches, San Augustine, Sabine, Houston, Trinity, Angelina, Walker, San Jacinto, Polk, Tyler, Jasper, Newton, Montgomery, Liberty, Hardin, Orange, Waller, Harris, Chambers, Jefferson, Galveston, Brazoria, Fort Bend, Austin, Colorado, Wharton and Matagorda.
