CELLULAR UNSERVED SERVICE AREA LICENSE

Report No. AUC-77 (Auction No. 77)
On June 17, 2008, the Federal Communications Commission completed the closed auction that
resolved mutually exclusive applications for one unserved service area license in the Cellular 
Radiotelephone Service (Auction No. 77).1 We find that the application listed in Attachment A is 
complete and conforms to the Commission’s rules.  Furthermore, the Commission has received full 
payment, as required by Section 1.2109(a) of its rules,2 for the license listed in Attachment A.
Accordingly, by this Public Notice, we announce the grant of the license listed in Attachment A.  
We grant this license pursuant to Section 309(a) of the Communications Act, 47 U.S.C. § 309(a), and 
section 0.331 of the Commission’s rules, 47 C.F.R. § 0.331, because it will serve the public interest, 
convenience, and necessity.

Notice, DA 08-1436 (WTB rel. June 18, 2008).   We note that all pending mutually exclusive applications for 
unserved area licenses in the Cellular Radiotelephone Service must be resolved through a system of competitive
